Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Breathless . . .   September 22, 2007
D. J. Blundell (Madrid, Spain)
Just finished the Alan Mullery autobiography and it's one of those you wish would never end. This is an excellent account of the highs and lows of the game we all know and love. It doesn't matter whether you're a Spurs fan or not, if you love footie, you'll love this book. It's packed with funny, sad and barmy stories that'll have you laughing and crying on the bus. The book contributor Tony Norman has obviously got the best out of Alan, who comes across as a really sound bloke that knows his football inside out. A superb read . . .

5 out of 5 stars A very interesting read.   September 26, 2006

I bought this book for my husband for his birthday, but ended up reading it too. A indepth and honest look into Alan Mullery's life. He is very graphic about the ups and downs of his life in and out of football. I would highly recommend this book, an ideal Christmas pressie for that football mad person in your life.
