This is a stunning book featuring a collection of Bradford Washburn's photography. This was his passion and life for almost 8 decades. The pictures themselves are mostly aerial shots of mountains and glaciers and they are simply marvellous, capturing the shape and shadows so well. I know of no other photographer who has photographed scale so well. The photos appear as though they could be magnified biological/chemical compositions momentarily masking the size of these objects. If you're a fan of mountains or photography, buy this book you won't regret it.
