At the time when Edmund Hillary reaches the top of Everest, other intrepid expeditions are setting off to conquer and map unknown territories and mountains in the Himalayas. This true story gives insights into the life threatening challenges of the mountains and the politics of the Chinese and Indian governments at that time. You won't be able to stop reading how the author and his friends overcame the challenges thanks to their endurance, humour and beliefs.
