Rockfax never fail to produce clear, concise, useful and entertaining guidebooks, and Western Grit is no exception. The routes are described in a text form as in other guidebooks, but each page features full-colour photos of each buttress, with coloured lines highlighting each route.This makes finding (and doing) a route so much easier. I thoroughly recommend this guide to anyone who is climbing on grit in the areas covered (Staffs, Cheshire, and the West of the Peak).
