A must for any student of turfgrass and golf course management. Comprehensive and covering topics not normally found in a book that is aimed at the practical turf manager. Although an American publication, it is written in a style that is universally readable and avoids the 'american jargon' that can often confuse the non-american reader. Whilst largely a practical book, the scientific explanations are detailed and comprehensive and provide a sound basis for designing management strategies. This book should be considered as a standard textbook and is an essential addition to any turf manager's library.
