Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fascinating and fun to read   July 8, 2005

This book is a great up close and personal look at (what i think is) the world's greatest sporting event. It really makes you appreciate what an incredible achievement it is to compete and complete the Tour De France -forget about winning, just getting through this guelling event is impressive enough for me. The detail that Tour De France For Dummies goes into- such as the ins and outs of the course, what the cyclists eat,the bike technology-had me gripped. If you love the tour de france, this book will make you love it even more....
