Yummy Mummy I am! July 25, 2006 C. Andrews (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I first bought this book from a charity shop but have just ordered one for a friend who was so impressed with my cooking! This book is well worth the money. The recipes are so easy, tasty and use everyday ingredients. Suitable for the whole family to eat. I cook alot but this book is the most used in my kitchen. Highly recommend.
good food kids will love-beyond chips and sausages July 13, 2003 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
i love this book.the recipes are fantastic.this is divided into different sections to cater for meat, veg, fruit, cakes etc...... but my favourite section is the section on oriental foods.id never previously thought of giving my kids oriental foods as i didnt think theyd like it,but i was very very surprised when one day my youngest (whose 5)asked me to make him a stir fry(he never did like the sweet and sour id given him previously)and to my amazement he ate it up.i was gobsmacketd. other recipes include sloppy joes, spaghetti bolognesse, soups and salads(the kids used to hate these.but thanks to this book they now love soups and salads)and also a section on breakfasts with a daily breakfast planner so if you want to feed the kids foods theyll enjoy-without choosing fat laden.artery clogging chips, sausages and fried junk-buy this book!!!!!.the recipes may be different than what your kids are used to-but theyll love them-mine do.and theyre the choosiest of the lot!!YOU CAN TAKE MY WORD FOR THAT:,)
Great even if you don't have kids. July 26, 2000 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book a couple of years back, before I came to the US,and it's close to becoming my recipe bible along with my Delia Smith. I don't have any children, but my husband and I find the quick meals great after work, and I have no hesitation cooking for friends from the book either.
An absolute godsend and a must for every busy mum. October 31, 1999 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a super family meal book and not only are the recipes easy to prepare, but they are also delicious and full of variety. Most of them end up on my dinner party tables too, especially the desserts at the end! The great thing is being able to produce such a high standard of nutrition in such a short time (most take around 30 minutes from start to finish). Definitely a must after the Baby & Toddler Meal Planner. Thanks once again Annabel.
