The first Miss Read book that I read was the year at Thrush Green, & ever since then I have been hooked.Living not far from the Cotswolds it is a joy to read these books & my favorite character is Dotty Harmer.I like the way all the characters lives are centred around the viilage & the closeness of village life, as this is true.
The books are a pure delight to read.
