Beauty on the Fire (Essex, UK)
I loved this book. It touches on the very tricky subject of substance addiction. You would think such a serious topic would make the book hard to read, but Keyes manages to make the book lighthearted and upbeat in her normal way. I loved how the book kept flicking between Rachel's past, and Rachel's present, it gave her character more depth. I also loved Luke's character....I want to meet a man like him!!
Overall, a surprising read which made me cry , but more often than not it made me laugh! Excellent escapism.
