I am such a huge fan of everything the Groundforce Team did! Especially when Alan Titchmarsh was with them. (why did they have to break up such a great team?).Anyhow, I suppose it was after watching the Team's exploits one night that i looked out the wondow and saw the sorry state of my own Garden, and decided to do something about it!
What a better place to start than Amazon - see what was available, what it cost, and how soon I could get it (I don't have access to a major bookstore on a regular basis).
There were a huge number of possibilities...but after reviewing a few - I felt this was a good general choice, and how right that turned out to be!

While it tries to encourge, we all know that good gardening (like the experts do), requires a little flair (as well as the hard work), and while I was not lacking the latter, the former is a little more hard to come by...
Ah well, at least I have Charlie Dimmock on my bookshelf! What more could a man want?
