4 out of 5 stars A Good Read, Very Entertaining   July 31, 2008
Darren G. Burton (Australia)
This is the first of the Myron Bolitar series od Coben books that I've read, and the second Coben novel I've read (Tell No One being the first to get me totally hooked on this author).

Although I didn't find it quite as gripping as his first 'stand alone' novel, I did thoroughly enjoy reading this book with its endless twists and turns and witty dialogue.

I thoroughly recommend reading this book and all Harlan Coben novels. Great writer. Writing fiction is all about entertainment, and that's what Coben delivers successfully every time!

5 out of 5 stars An Enjoyable Read...   January 31, 2008
Sarah Gooding (England)
This is the second time I've read 'The Final Detail' and once again I was riveted from the first page. While writing this review, I would also highly recommend 'The Constantine Legacy' by Andrew Towning.

4 out of 5 stars Myron has to clear Esperanza's name   September 25, 2007

Another one I read within a couple of days. Driving my husband mad with reading at every opportunity, even while I'm cooking. Myron has hit rock bottom and vanished to lick his wounds. Win comes and brings him back to reality. His now business partner has been arrested and Myron won't have it. Big Cindy is really growing on me in this book. I just had to know, just about contained myself from looking through the back pages to find out.

The duplicated review below is just a copy of what he/she has put on the book verion.
Have you actually purchased these from Amazon and actually listened to them - I think not.
Any way to get the review numbers up, hey - shame on you!
It is high time Amazon started vetting this and the rest of the rubbish in the so-called 'top 50' table of reviewers! Too much time to spend on the internet?
Swan Song, by Cornwell is the same sorry state!

5 out of 5 stars Sixth Book in the Myron Bolitar Series   July 2, 2007

Harlan Coben continues to prove that he is one of the best thriller writers around at the moment. A page turner is a much used phrase but in this case it is really appropriate. The author's books are always so well structured and his character's well rounded. He is obviously comfortable with his style and ability and this transmits itself to the reader making the reading of his books sheer pleasure from start to finish. Coben has now got a string of best selling crime novels behind him and all I can say is that I hope he continues to write for many years to come. The author lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children.

Myron Bolitar is settled in a Caribbean hideaway, sounds great. The trouble is that is what he is doing, hiding. Hiding from everything the world can throw at him. His friends, his own failures in life, everything. After his professional sporting life was so dramatically taken away from him Bolitar made a success of being a sports agent, so what went wrong?

Myron is forced back into his old life when his dearest friend is charged with murder. Myron just has to become involved and try to prove that his friend is not the murderer, but the problem is that the victim is one of his oldest clients . . .
