Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Stunning Delia recipes from beginners to more experienced   February 19, 2004

I bought this book recently and am extremely pleased with it. It combines Delia's 'How To Cook' books 1 and 2 but in one handy book, taking up less space on our family's ever-growing cookery bookshelf. Quite uniquely among cookery books, the cover is wipeable which proves highly useful when you're grappling with numerous ingredients.

My other recipe books include Nigella, Jamie Oliver, Mary Berry and Nigel Slater, and although direct comparisons are tricky as the styles are all so different, I definitely rate this Delia collection as our households most used. I love the way she takes things step-by-step so you really can't go wrong at all. For the first time in my life I have made a souffle!
