Hard to put down August 25, 2008 Good day sunshine I'm not really into crime fiction (and the recommendation from Dan Brown on the cover didn't help) but I decided to give it a go. This is the first Harlan Coben book I've read and I really enjoyed it. The plot twists and turns and the characters are well written (none of that cheesy angelic good cop and naughty baddie) The characters were flawed, and so more real. The plot was fast paced and, as I've said, enough twists to keep me reading. I'll certainly be looking out for more of Cobens books.
Another excellent 'Coben' read January 29, 2008 M. Bound (UK) Excellent read, a true page-turner. As always Coben does not let you down, bring on the next one!!
Very Good Read January 17, 2008 A. Stephenson (London, UK) This is the first time I have read anything from this author at the recommendation of my neice. I was very happy that I did, I got stuck in with the characters, very good narration by Tim M and certainly will be reading more.
A 5 STAR BOOK January 4, 2008 Scott Mclintock (Glasgow) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Srap on your seatbelt and prepare for a bumpy ride. Lock your doors and unhook your phones. Do whatever is neccesary! This is one book that quite literally keeps you thrilled till the last page. Its your ultimate time passer for long journeys...
Not Harlan Coben's best December 20, 2007 Ty Williams 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I usually love reading Coben's books, and I must say I thourghly enjoyed reading this one. I ignored my husband for two days while I poured myself into this book. The twists and turns were exciting and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen in the end - but as the reviewer before stated, it ended abruptly. The ending had so much more potential. The whole plot was great, but the end was a huge let down!! Also, if you missed reading Tino Georgiou's masterpiece--The Fates, go and read it.
