Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A slightly limited pictorial of historical events   January 15, 2002

After reading the tag line of this review you could think i didnt like this book but you would be wrong.
Each of the individual battles is nicely represented with a diagram(s) and some good pictures showing the main positions and the actions that occurred in the battle. Unfortunately the book is limited to a description and the diagram in most places and so it feels like you are missing some of the picture.
The result is that this book feels a bit like a popup book to read but if you dont want to know the ins and outs and every detail of a battle then this is not a problem. if however you love small details then this book may leave you feeling a little short changed.
