I bought this audiobook, and listened to it, I was totally enthalled - Unlike most TV and radio programmes this one really had lots of time, it runs to four full CDs - The 1960s were my era, and this really brought so many of the issues back in a sensible and lively way and hearing the voices was great. I have bought a copy to give to my kids (now in thier 20s) to get a greater understanding of what the 1960s was like.
I am now looking forward to working my way through the whole of this excellent EYEWITNESS series

I recently discovered this series after I heard a colleague at the school I work at talking about it = they were saying what a remarkable and useful series the BBC has produced, but that they had not heard it on the radio at all. I have now bought a couple of the CDs and they are really interesting, this really is history as reported by those that saw it. I am using the series with all the history classes that I teach. Totally recommened.
