Slawter review June 18, 2008 Joe (Brighton & Hove, England, the UK.) The book takes off where Lord Loss ended, with Grubbs, Bill-E and Dervish Grady all try to live a normal life. Then a horror movie director invites them to come an join her as they film Slawter, the most realistic demon film ever. But who is this director really working for? Why are children going missing? And why are the Demons on set looking realistic... too realistic? Lord Loss is back, and wants revenge on Grubbs. BUY THE BOOK! It's brilliant.
Slawter - The Best of the Series? April 1, 2008 Libby Nithavrianakis I read this book in 1 day. It was that gripping. It is a "Must Read Book" for ages 10+. You will be thrilled by the way that it is written. I am glad that Darren Shan wrote this book.
Really good January 11, 2008 marky77 (England) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pleased to say that the third novel in the Demonata trilogy is just as good as the first 2! This time the story returns to Grubbs Grady (along with Bill-E and Dervish, of course). A famous horror movie director has heard about Dervishes collection of books about demons and wants his (and Grubb's) assistance in the making of her new movie - Slawter. Dervish, Grubbs and Bill-E arrive on the isolated movie site and as soon as the first scene is shot - a scene in which a boy is killed by a demon - Grubbs knows that there is a big problem with the movie...it's using real deomons!. Another brilliant entry in the Demonata Saga - so good I read it in one night. Highly reccommended.

My title, pure horror, is definatly true. If you read this amazing book, you'll be obsessed to Daren Shan's blood-curdling, gruesome, chilling facts and I gurantee that they'll send shivers down your spine. This read is filled with sheer terror that, I promise, you won't regret if you buy and read this book!
Grubbs is back October 15, 2007 D. Wells The 3rd book in the Demonata and we're back with my favorite characters Grubbs and Dervish. To fully appreciate this book you need to read the Lord Loss and Demon Thief first, but I think you'd still enjoy this book even if you haven't read the previous 2. I couldn't put this book down and was left hungry for more at the end.
