I enjoyed reading this book because it kept my interest all the way through.I also liked the way the author Celia Rees has taken the time to describe all the characters in great detail.
It is interesting how the chapters are set out because each one has a cliff hanger for an ending.This makes you want to read on and find out what happens.
I also like how Celia Rees, creates tension all the way through.Because you read a couple of lines and nothing will be going on then you read the next few lines and loads will be going on.In places I found this quite hard to follow.
On the whole I would recommend this book to anyone because you will find it very interesting.

This story has adventure, friendship, magic and mostly courage it fits all wonders and is a book you cannot put down. The four stars mean courage, magic, adventure and friendship. The missed star is the lack of love and romance between the characters. I am only 11 and this is a challenging book to understand, but the middle and end nearly brought a tear to my eye!
