But Here's The Thing... August 12, 2008 Alan (United Kingdom) This is an attractive looking book. It's full of lots of full-colour screenshots, and clean, smart pages. All the content is up to date and relevant to 2008. It's a kind of non-linear book, with a different tip on each page. So, you can just pick it up at any page, and learn something. But here's the thing. The text on each page is surprisingly difficult to read and digest. There are NO paragraph gaps. Each page is just written as one massive chunk of text. And there are no bullet points, no lists and no bold formatting. So, it isn't the best read, and it's easy to get lost in Scott's unformatted chunks of text. That said, Scott Kelby is a great teacher. Check out his free 40-minute PhotoshopUser TV podcasts on iTunes.
