Waste of money August 23, 2008 C. J. Barron (Newcastle Upon Tyne) The reviews are right this is a bit of a waste of money. I bought it thinking at least it would be a different past paper from the ones I downloaded and it would give me 3 different papers to try, but I was wrong to think that, it is actually the one you download when you book the exam. It's on nicer paper than I have in my printer but 19 for the privledge? Not worth it. The only benefit is that if you're doing Foundation you can get a look at how difficult the practitioner exam will be. My advice is, buy the pocket book, buy the main big book, leave this one out of the equation.
Is it worth the cash ? June 2, 2008 Gary Dunton 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have no grip about the content of the book. However you can download the same scenario free of charge from the web site. The associated questions are slightly different to those you can download. The content is excellent but why pay if you can download?
Good guide, enough to get an good understanding of what the exminer is looking for January 27, 2008 ashy (uk) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
With exams, I have always found that if you have a good idea what the examiner/assessor is looking for the exam becomes significantly easier. The Prince2 exams can be a little vague. This guide as well as taking you through the sample papers, explains why the answer is right.
Must read guide January 27, 2008 J. dean (Newcastle, uk) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a must read guide, as well as providing a sample of each exam and model answers. The guide then goes into great detail on why certain answers are the "right ones". This guide gives you so much additional background information that will help in the exam. Positives: + Prince2 foundation exam 195, Practitioner 360. So putting this into perpective this book is not bad value. + Authorities and definitive answers, with a great deal of explanation. + the sample papers cover a wide spread. Negatives + Could do with more than one sample paper for each
Fairly pointless January 18, 2008 Mr. D. L. Bell (UK) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book really doesn't contain anything that 15 minutes on the internet couldn't achieve. 1 practice paper of each exam and a quick syllabus guide. If it was around the 3.50 mark then it might be worth having as a quick reference but at 20 I wish I hadn't bothered.
