A well told, simply illustrated version of a classic tale. My daughter requests this book every night before bed and loves to finish each page herself (although she can't yet read). A good moral tale about helping out. Smashing!

Very well done. Story is of course a classic - but the words and the pictures are just so nicely done. I read it now with 1.5 year old - and I can see we'll carry on reading it for next 4 years. 90% of the kids books we have seem to be rubbish - but this is a good one. I'm going to buy a couple more in the series.
