what can I say, July 4, 2007 Mary (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book got me through my teenage years. I'm in my twenties now and it's still on my bookshelf because I just don't have the heart to get rid of it.
Brilliant! July 1, 2006 Catherine (England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was the first book I have ever read for teenagers by Ros Asquith. It dealt with common teenage worries such as boys, chocolate, hair and other stuff. I really enjoyed it.
Teenage Worrier Review June 4, 2003 Hannah 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I thought the book was very funny and it was telling teenagers that teenage stages are important in life, because its a time when you change into an adult and you leave behind the stages of being a child! It was different from the usual books I read and exciting to explore! I enjoyed this book very well and would like to read more of Ros Asquith's books!!!!!!
Letty Chubb is so lifelike it's scarey July 24, 2001 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
All I can say is the same as all the other reviews I've read - this book is hilarious and deeply reassuring. Ever since I was about ten, i have been bombarded with teen magazines etc. showing teenagers to be laidback, beautiful, confident and all the other things I'm not. 'I was a teenage worrier' blasted this out of the water, and showed me that it's OK to be worried! What I also loved were the constant references to issues such as homeless people, refugees, the third world etc - cos we all need to be reminded of these, especially me when I'm worried about a bad hair day! I would recommend this to ANY teenager cos it's hilarious, doesn't talk down to you and will seriously help you out whenever you're worried.
We love Letty Chubb! March 18, 2001 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
You think your life is bad then you read about the character Letty. The background story is great, I love the cartoons because they are better than Picasso (and funnier..)This is HYSTERICAL and a teenage version of the Bible including the meaning of life, Utopia, armpits.. I will flick through this all through my teens. -Hana,12
