On almost every page of these practice papers there are severe grammatical errors (e.g. "Übrigens machen wir *keine Urlaub", Reading Paper 1, p. 12), spelling mistakes (*kamm, ibid.), wrong connotations ("Nach fünf Minuten werden die Teebeutel *ausgenommen", Reading Paper 1, p. 7) and spelling mistakes (confusing the 3rd person plural pronoun sie and the polite 2nd person pronoun Sie; inconsistent use of new and old spellings: heute nachmittag on page 6 and heute Abend on page 9). The language in most texts is anything but idiomatic German. As a German native speaker, I am appalled at the poor quality of this publication and can only advise people against buying this title.

German is a very complex language and this book splits the grammar into simple terms with a lot of help using cartoons. Very funny at times with good vocab. Using this book, I got an A* for my GCSE German and am now doing it for A-Level! For those struggling with grammar, this book is a definite must have!

I do like the layout of these books very easy to follow, and it made learning german fun! (odd but true)

I think that this book includes all the most basic skills of German and helps you to revise the structure of the language with sentence fromations and gramatical rules. Which I can promise any one who takes the G.C.S.E higher lower or intermidiate like i'm about too will need to know! The book also has several diffrent sections divoted to diffrent topics of conversation. For example shopping or describing yourself which can be mega useful in the speaking exam! The only problem with this revision guide is that it can be a bit 'busy' with lots of colour and pictures on the page that can sometimes be confusing when you have been revising all day! All in all I think this is the best revision guide avalible in the shops and I don't intend to go to a single exam without this book or the others in the series!(inc. G.C.S.E: Maths ,English and Geography!)
