5 out of 5 stars More stunning revelations from Fanelli   November 29, 2007

Fanelli's new book is a radical departure from her previous works. Not only is it intended for adults rather than for children, but it involves new techniques such as printmaking and three-dimensional models rarely seen in Fanelli's work upto now. What is not new is her wit, her inventive imagination, her playfulness, and the depth and thoughtfulness that lie at the heart of the work. Her eye and sense of composition are faultless and her sense of what a book can be seems to expand with every new publication. There is so much food for thought in Fanelli's interpretations of the quotations in this book that one will want to revisit it again and again; it can be looked at a little at a time or in longer chunks and both are highly recommended. Is this, perhaps, the locus of the best of British art rather than the more publicity-seeking surface attraction of the usual suspects ?
