Mega Memery August 26, 2003 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I have recently purchased this book, and I have to say it was a let down. After listing to two CD's there was ony two lessons which only takes up about 1/3 of the total time. At least 2/3 of the CD's is storys of how your memory will improve. After about 30 mins he finally tells you that this is only touching on the full course which is 9 hours. The full course might be worth it, but avoid this version. A waste of time and your money.
A waste of plastic, audio tape, recording time, attention. October 7, 2001 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
These two cassettes are grossly padded and the actual content could be placed on perhaps 5 minutes of tape, assuming an uncritical auditor generous with her time. The idea to improve memory is enticing as most of us complain about our problems in that regard. Mr. Trudeau's core idea is very simple and I encountered it in university in 1948 (I think, if I can depend on my memory prior to Mr. Trudeau's intervention). Cassettes have to be filled with something - there's a bit of music of musak quality - but the actual content can be reduced to two or three sentences. It's a "duh" audio learning experience and can be recommended to no one. A void. Avoid.
You will be surprised - this really does work ! ! March 25, 2001 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
British people are often very sceptical when it comes to things like self-improvement courses and programmes, I saw this item on television and thought the very same thing. I watched the author do several demonstrations and thought that I would give it a go. The product comes on audio cassettes with a workbook and to be honest I started the first 'lesson' on a Thursday and by the Friday of the same week, I was remembering things Kevin had said on his tapes. When you get to lesson 3, there is a list of some 24 words and phrases which look daunting as you are required to remember them all in order. As I looked at this list I thought no way is there ever going to be a way that I will remember all those. I sat there studying the list with no luck. However, since completing the relevant lesson, I had no trouble at all. There are some 16 lessons in total in addition to the workbook and it really, no I mean really made me sit back and think wow, did I do that ? In his programmes, Kevin Trudeau explains what is possible with your mind and memory, he does not explain the actual techniques used on his show, and I will not here either - if you have ever considered something like this, then my advice to you is to try it. Please believe me when I say that this program really does work, put aside your British upper lip and buy this superb product. You will not be disappointed ! ! !
An Excellent Product March 21, 2001 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I ordered the mega memory product about a month ago. Since then I have seen vast improvements in my learning and remembering abilities. I didn't expect the product to work as quickly as it did. Since purchasing I have let a few other family members try it out and they too were amazed. I'm a final year comuter science student and wouldn't be without it. I know I might sound like an advert for the product but seriouly it is good.. The only reason I haven't gave it 5 stars is because I would hate to influence anyone.
Reason why there is only one review!! August 23, 1998 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
The other people who bought the book forgot what it was about !!!
