Total rubbish November 28, 2007 Plastic Zombie (Sussex, England, UK) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
As a big fan of Classic Who I have unfortunately listened to quite a few of the awful Dr Who audio plays. Upon buying the limited edition Davros Collection DVD boxset, I found myself in possession of all audio plays involving the one-eyed megalomaniac. All I can say is Terror Firma is the worst of them and worst of all the Dr Who radio plays I have listened to. Total waste of time.
"Do you remember Doctor?" November 20, 2005 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
Terror Firma takes place immediately after the conclusion of The Next Life. The Doctor, Charley, and C'Rizz find themselves back on Earth except Davros and the Daleks are in charge and humans were either converted into Daleks or made second class citizens. Davros reveals to the Doctor that he has a terminal disease and he wants the Doctor to eliminate his suffering by killing him. The Doctor refuses but finds that Davros had set certain events into motion long ago that would ensure that the Doctor will do what is asked of him. The Doctor soon learns that his past catches up with his present in a way he didn't expect. Lidster, who previously penned The Rapture and Master, does an excellent job in engaging and fooling the listener. Lidster also leaves a disturbing ending that leaves the listener wondering what the Doctor will do when a certain situation comes to a head.
