5 out of 5 stars In the bleak midwinter...   December 14, 2006

Sapphire and steel get a christmas story. An abandoned theatre. On the site of a demolished church. Next to a graveyard. On christmas eve.

Promises spooky stuff!

And it delivers!

I will not say too much about the plot, as there's lots of delights to be had in seeing how it unfolds. Where this story scores is:

The guest cast. Just two of them, and they both portray very interesting characters that are allowed lots of chances to develop. And both the actors are superb. And very versatile.

And the music. This story uses music ever so well, both as an integral part of the story, and for backing. And you won't be able to get some of it off your mind.

Or forget the ending.

The best sapphire and steel big finish have done [it just beats out all fall down] and highly recommended
