Until I found this software, I could have had NO idea of how to pronounce the above phrase. You see, the speaking/listening bit of language learning is very different from the reading/writing bit.Hence, many years after French A-Level, I can still read and write French (with the aid of a dictionary) - but I'm hopeless at actually speaking it!
This software is good, because all the repetition that happens with the games mean that you absorb words and sounds almost effortlessly - I found myself being surprised at the words that I knew.
The recording bit is excellent, too - you can compare your pronunciation with that blonde girl who has a very warm, sexy accent and wiggles her shoulders (?)so appealingly.
(Shame the bloke isn't so sexy).
For a complete beginner and Sais, the main problem is - just how DO you pronounce all those lls, us and ys?
Use this and you'll find out, painlessly!
Very good confidence builder, but won't teach you the grammar. (But you can get THAT from a book).
NB The accent is apparently South Wales!
Looking forward to Irish, Scots Gaelic and Manx...
