Excellent tapes (not books) essential for use with the books February 28, 2001
This is the initial audio tape set of the three volume set of the beginner's Standard Arabic language course, consisting of the sounds and letters of Arabic in the book, Alif Baa and in Volume I of the grammar and spelling course, neither of which is included and which must be purchased separately. (There is a third volume and set of tapes, confusingly numbered Volume II.) While not intended for self study, I have found them to be excellent basic texts when supplemented by additional material available from Amazon, for a student in the forests of Sweden, far from the nearest Arab. Highly recommended.
