At last, a truly personal account of a racing career. March 31, 2003 Målberg Henrik (LERUM, SWEDEN Sweden) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
An excellent account of a remarkable racing career. Where most race driver biographies tend to be result records with the odd personal comment, this book generously reflects Nigels personal thoughts and values. His relations with team mates and team managers are described very personally and with much emotion. The book als covers more than just the racing (golf, karate) which could be a bad thing. In this book, however, it just adds beautifully to the image the is created of a great driver. I am really no great fan of Nigel's but after reading this book, my admiration and respect for him has skyrocketed.
Inspirational ! You Won't Be Disappointed February 18, 2002 Michael Davies (Cheshire, England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A truly inspirational account of self belief, determination and commitment.Whether you are a fan of 'Our Nige'or not, after reading this you will have to agree that he more than deserved to win the F1 World Championship in '92. Now stop wasting your time reading this and read the book !.
A must have for all true Mansell.supporters July 17, 2000 Andreas Gauf (FFM) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Five stars, because Nigel Mansell is my all-time favourite racing driver. The book is a nice look inside the life of this man, who gave us phantastic races (remember Silverstone 1987). The lion, as he is called not only in Italy, has also written "Driven to Win", a second book not to be missed by his true followers.
