Very good book for non-bankers December 18, 2006 A. Guppy (UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I just moved to banking with non-banking background and found this book very useful. It is very easy to read and gives a good overview on all issues related to banking, starting from regulatory and ending with description of various financial products and their use. It was exactly the book I needed and I would recommend it to people in similar situation. I think it is also useful if you work in one area of banking to act as a reference book for products under the other area which you are not that familiar, for example Trade Finance products, etc.
