I am an avid fan of Maureen Jennings' books, and this is the best and darkest yet. Taking as its theme child pornography, our hero searches for a lost girl, who might have been more involved in the dirty picture business than he likes to imagine, but then bodies start to appear....if you haven't read any of these yet, start at the beginning with Except the Dying, so you can enjoy the development of his character, and the beauty of the descriptions of Victorian Toronto. Thoroughly recommended !
