A must read for all thriller fans November 11, 2006 Ms. Andrea Milton (Glasgow) A few reviews have classed this book as 'one of the best books I have ever read'. This is another one of those reviews! I read the book when it first came out and have bought it no less than 3 times; to replace a lost (borrowed) copy and for presents. A vivid, edge-of-your-seat experience- I'm at a loss as to why this hasn't been made into a Hollywood blockbuster by now. If you are a Grisham or Coben fan especially, you must read this.
AMAZING February 19, 2004 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
this was simply one of the best books i have ever read. written so clearly u can actually imagine the movie playing in ure head. gr8 story, offers twists and then some... i loved it so will u
Quite simply ... May 3, 2003 .. the best book I have ever read. I am a big fan of Ridpath but this first effort from Meltzer is just magnificent. More twists and turns than a Swiss mountain road. Could not put this down and my wife then read it in doubly quick time. If you can guess the end, you're better than me.
Just about the best novel I have ever read November 18, 2001 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My copy of this has now fallen apart due to excessive borrowing. A tale with more twists than a mountain pass. If you can guess the end - you're better than anyone I know. The book is fast paced and starts on page one - unlike most novels that take 50 pages to get going. I just could not put this down and read through the night to finish it.
Excellent March 19, 2001 A very good thriller, I couldn't put it down, and I feel that he is different to any other writer I have ever read
