Pale imitation of the original January 27, 2008 Daran G. Rowlands (Kent, UK) I got all the way through this book thinking it was very familiar. Then on turning the last page I found out why. Stel Pavlou had sold his original story to the publishers of this book who have essentially just rewritten his (badly!) Forget this book and buy the original - Decipher by Stel Pavlou. I've read it three times now and still find it gripping.
Very Disappointing July 31, 2007 Mark Mcclelland (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I picked this book up with high expectations, but was sorely disappointed. It was badly written and disjointed. The characters were the usual suspects for this kind of book, where they all have a connection and a back story with issues to be resolved. Greanias obviously has a high opinion of himself, already stating that this is "a damn good novel", and has a sequel in the pipeline "The Atlantis Prophecy" which based on the back cover synopsis would appear to be a retread of this but set in Washington.
What a let down April 2, 2007 K. L. Diong (Carryduff) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Like the others, it was bought to pass time in the airport. Actually finished it in 6 hours. After the initial build-up, it tuns into an utter trash regarding the bible and religion, incoherence of pyramids. I am putting it into the recycling bin. Cannot bear the thought of wasting another's money.

Great read November 23, 2006 MacD (North Yorkshire, U.K) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book at the train station, and was hooked as soon as I started to read. Very fast paced, like the story for an action adventure movie. Leant it to a work colleague who was also hooked. A very nice change from most books I pick up spur of the moment, worth every penny. Supposed to be a sequel, can't wait.
