Fabtastic! October 1, 2008 EHS (UK) I have borrowed this book from the library and its so good I think I will buy it! I am 31 and would happily wear most of the outfits suggested, maybe the person who suggested it was for midteens, shops in marks and spencers and doesn't want to look cool and funky?!
A good starting point March 26, 2008 K. Roycroft (England) This book designed for a teenage audience and is ideal for anyone who wants to have a little fun and create something a bit unusual from just a plain old t-shirt. This is not for anyone wanting to be taught how to sew, create patterns and become a good seamstress. The ideas are simple, easy to follow and anyone with a little imagination has probably played around with ideas like this already. I'd say it's good for beginners, and would make a perfect gift for any rebel-without-a-cause teen girl that likes to cut up their clothes in the name of style ;)
Some good ideas January 11, 2008 Gemma Lee (Bristol, UK) Yes this book is quite basic and yes some of the designs I would never wear in public, but some I really like and are almost classy and all are a source of inspiration for further personal ideas for using up your old T-shirts. You're bound to find something you like in book with over 100 ideas.
love it November 28, 2007 L. thomas i received this book and straight away i loved it. yes it's layout is quite basic but that makes it all the more easier to get going on some great designs. it's given some of my old t-shirts a new lease of life and the designs featured are brill!!!
I LOVE this book!!! July 17, 2007 Joanne (Lancashire, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ignore anyone who says this book is rubbish - it was delivered to my house this morning and I am completely in love with it already!! I haven't actually given any of the ideas a try yet, but it will keep me occupied for HOURS!! There are hundreds of cool ideas in here, and I'm going to need a heck of a lot of T-shirts to try them all!! Haha, seriously though, this is ingenious, and there's something for everyone... Very clear and easy to follow, detailed diagrams.
