Having read the Game I thought this would be a good read. However it's not. The only advice given is 'make eye contact'. Superb. The book has a cheap feel to it as if it's been printed in the guy's garage, plus it's also quite disjointed. There are plenty of more useful books out there.

I read this book, used the techniques, and thought it was excellent. It's pretty straight forward and to the point. I wasn't sure what to expect because of some negative reviews. After looking again however I realize that the negative reviews are intended to promote competing books. The System stands on its own and I recommend it to any guy interested in meeting and picking up girls.

I bought this book together with Neil Strauss's 'The Game'. As 'The System' is tiny and 'The Game' is long, I read 'The System' first.
I didn't think that 'The System' was too bad. Rather simplistic for sure, but it looks as if the strategy that the author uses should have some effect - at least for someone as totally clueless as myself in certain key areas.
But once I started 'The Game' I realized how basic the advice in 'The System' really is. Valentine is like a kindergarten teacher compared to Strauss's university lecturer. If I had read 'The Game' first, I am sure I would have thrown 'The System' away after 10 minutes.
In summary, don't waste your money on this book; get 'The Game' instead.

Well I bought this book as well as a few others on the same subject purely for research. I discovered an interesting read with some good tips for finding the girl or girls that are willing or want to have sex with you. Apart from that the book does not really go into anything more than the average guy would know. It can be hit and miss and infact rather deceptive purely using the eye contact method during scanning, for the reason that some people and more often females tend to people watch when on thier own so the eye contact could be read wrong. A much better read will be my book that should be out in January which explains the dating game to a tee.

Every Man should buy this book. This is an excellent book. Great advice & tips. Read study put to practice and yes GET LAID!
