There are coffee-tables in gay houses too January 22, 2008 Ford Ka (Planet Earth) It is good that someone noticed that you can find a coffee-table in most gay households. A coffee-table desperately needs coffee-table books so if you haven't got one so far, this is a perfect choice. Nice pictures, not too much to read (does one ever read coffee-table books?) and it is better not to go too deep. If you want to read, there is plenty elsewhere to choose from. The only problem is that you have to hide it when your grandma pops in for a cup of coffee. The book may be, well, let's just say... too graphic for some straight people.
An Illustrative Guide June 5, 2004 11 out of 14 found this review helpful
Well-illustrated, but then I do prefer line drawings to photographs...they have texture and seem sexier. It is not a how-to like Mitch Walker's wonderful liitle volume, nor encyclopaedic like Jack Hart's or The Joy Of......but it is lightweight and tries to be another Colin Spencer Kama Sutra though I think the latter has sexier illustrations......at full-price this book is over-priced.....if picked up around ten pounds or below it is a useful book for display though not as lavish as Tatchell's Safer Sexy.........it would not be my first choice however, Mitch Walker's Men Loving Men would have pride of place
Fantastic! Taught me a thing or two... January 23, 2004 Tristan H (Carshalton) 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I'm fairly new to the art of making love to men, and bought this book to try and "gem up" on one or two things. In short, this book is absolutely fantastic! My partner and I have been brought even closer through the many positions and techniques. My only criticism is perhaps that some of the positions are not achievable unless you are endowed at least to the national average, otherwise great fun can be had.
