1 out of 5 stars Epic Fail   August 9, 2008
Satan (Hell)
I found her style of writing entertaining unlike many European-style psycho babble dating guides which would not work on a American female unless she has the brain of a squirrel.

2 out of 5 stars nice but...   October 15, 2006

Retitle this book 'how to get lots of female friends who all wonder why such a nice guy is still single (but don't want to shag you)'

Nice book on getting on with women, treating them with respect and understanding how they think they work. This is a lot more respectful than the more manipulative books recommended alongside it... but it totally ignores the fact that in choosing someone to hook up with, most women want a man who excites them.

1 out of 5 stars Badly Researched and too negative   October 24, 2005

At finishing a long term relationship I decided that I needed some help in meeting women so I ordered this book on the basis of the other reviews.I can honestly say that after reading this book I am now more demotivated in my search for romance than before. The basic premise of this book is that you are a good looking male who only needs to be a bit more charming in order to get the girl of your dreams. If you fall into this category then you might get something from it,if not the advice is very basic. In addition this book also appears to be badly researched the 5 graphs to show womans opinions all have the same small number of respondents,48.This would indicate that the author has simply asked her friends their views rather than doing any real research.
In short please do not buy this book unless you are a good looking rugby playing type who only approaches woman in bars after you've had too much to drink.

2 out of 5 stars Too Negative   May 23, 2005

OK so I read Tracey Cox books Superflirt and Superdate and felt positive about going out there and finding a woman. I then read this book and it made me feel despondent again. It focuses so much on the negative things that men do to blow their chances. It does cover the positive things that men do but you just seem overwhelmed by the negative stuff. There are a few black and white pictures in the book which are uninspiring. Compare that to Tracey Cox books that are both colourful and contain full colour photos of real people (well hired models). This book generally focuses on stories of the friends of the authors and these stories are just througout the book, whilst real life situations can build up a picture in your head, there are just too much of them in this book, which seems to leave the author drolling on with story after story.

4 out of 5 stars A good inside into a women's point of view   April 11, 2005

It's nice to read a women's point of view for once, instead of a macho view of charming the opposite sex. The book clears up a few of the many misteries that we men face when it comes to women.

I especially like the section on body language however much practise will be required to multi-task, concetrating on body language and trying to keep the conversation flowing.

This is a very easy book to read, well worth reading if, like me, you are absolutely useless when it comes to charming the ladies!
