As a failed linguist of 44 years, I decided to have one last attempt at learning a second language. This was prompted by the humiliation of visiting Germany every second year with a school exchange, never having picked up more than a few words.
Michel Thomas' course is truly fantastic! I now have the confidence to engage locals in conversation, and am able to understand, and to make myself understood. It was a truly painless process, and has prompted me to continue with the full eight-hour course. I unreservedly reccommend this course to anyone who was tried and failed before.
