Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars If you liked the first book, you should like this one too.   November 4, 2004

It took me a long time to get through this book, but worth it. A great follow up to the first book, although in places it seemed a little concocted. If you liked the first book, you should like this one too.

5 out of 5 stars That awkward second book . . . better than the first   July 25, 2001

Ms Roberts has come up with a second winner; Breaking Point is as fast and engaging as Needlepoint and Ms Cameron McGill, the author's protagonist is more alive and believable than many PIs or other thriller heroines. The mainstream is the place for Ms. Robert's work - she deserves far more than a niche market alone simply because she manages to have a 'minority' protagonist without making her orientation overtake the plot or the action. The book is an excellent thriller not a stodgy poorly-disguised polemic. Very well done.
