 Fantastic story to lose yourself in! January 4, 2006

As with all of the Gerri Hill books so far, this is a book that you just cant put down, until it has been read from cover to cover. Somehow you seem to get drawn into the story. Gerri does'nt just write sickly love stories, there is always an element of surprise, which sometimes keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters are always very strong willed, and explained in such a way, you feel you actually know them. If you haven't read any books by Gerri Hill, then you are cheating yourself! I recommend every one of them.

This is a cut above the usual romance novels in that personally, (and obviously this is an individual thing) you can relate to the characters. They are smart, strong, feminine (if you like that kind of thing) and speak their mind. I found the writing easy to read and enjoyable and look forward to reading many more of her books. Her humour made me chuckle no end. Read it if you want to feel good about people, love and the goings on in a woman's mind.

A thoroughly enjoyable romance from beginning to end. The main charachters Carly and Pat are sincere and utterly believable taking the reader sensitively through their journey of love, with verbal exchanges and emotions ranging from laugh out loud humour to heart churning emotional exchanges. An absolute pleasure to read.
