5 out of 5 stars Quite amazing - speak to your heart.   March 6, 2002

I have to say, I wasn't really planning to buy this book for the reason that was written by a radical feminist writer, and a very much activist one, and I simply thought that it would not be true - and certainly not objective. Fortunately, and to my very surprise, I was wrong.

A very good book which does not only examine social inequalities, but very much, explores the way women are perceived, in the so called, modern ociety. Plus, some rather taboo subjects regarding women's sexuality. It is fully detailed with some very strong back ups, nothing pseudo or pretentious about it.

Indeed, an amazing book, that, I am sure, will speak to one's heart.

Cheers,
