Absolutely Useless!!! if you're already a SMART WOMAN October 15, 2003 K Doughty (Cheshire United Kingdom) 21 out of 28 found this review helpful
All this book contains is common sense, but if you don't have any then I guess its great. I just thought - tell me something I don't know!! Believe me - if you are a SMART woman then you will already know all what this book contains.
love it! a MUST HAVE for all women, all ages! August 2, 1999 20 out of 25 found this review helpful
Let's put it this way...I am about to order my fourth copy of this book. This, of course, is because I keep lending it out to my female friends (and the teens I counsel) and never get it back- my feeling is, "keep it, because ALL women should own it!" This is the best book ever, and once you get over the shame (I hid under my blankets and I live alone!) that you may have done all the "faux pas", you can be one step closer to being a smart woman. Kudos to the authors, and when you buy a copy for yourself, get extras for your girlfriends!
Restores strength and truly puts things in perspective. July 21, 1999 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
This book is a simple yet surprisingly strong tool for women in general. Whether you are in a realationship or not. It contains thoughts, statements, scenarios and questions that are amazingly true and curiously universal amongst women. This book addresses the reality of who we are and what we need. It reminds us that our happiness lies in our decisions and the wisdom we gain from our mistakes. I have cherished this book for many years, and loaned it to many friends.
Great Book!!! June 24, 1999 22 out of 25 found this review helpful
This book is easy to read, and it is full of commonsense guidelines for playing and winning on the romantic battlefield. However, for most of us women in the throes of love, sense often isn't so common. So if you've ever lost your commonsense in the company of an "interesting" man, do your heart and soul a favor and read this book before you venture out again. Oh, and remember this: Judge all men, not by their words, but by the consistency of their deeds.
A Must March 24, 1999 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
Every single woman should read this book over and over until it is memorized, then consider it the Bible.
