Great Book July 31, 2008 Darren G. Burton (Australia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book has similar themes as the book and DVD "The Secret", only this is titled "The Answer" and is more specifically geared toward business. Fundamentally this book is a more powerful tool and reference than The Secret, due to the fact that it combines practicality with the 'laws of attraction' principle. Training you mind, the way you think and your thought patterns and habits, is vital to success in any endeavour. The Answer provides the answers to achieving this effectively and permanently embedded this message into your psyche. A must read for anyone in business (or planning to be in business), and a very helpful reference tool for life in general. Same old stuff rehashed... July 27, 2008 J. Austin (UK) If you go over to Amazon.com there are currently at the time of me writing 44 reviews and most of them absolutely glowing with all 5 stars. Apart from that there is a massive amount of hype about this book. I could not wait to get it home and start reading. It struck me before I got even half way through that this is a combination of many well known metaphysical/positive thinking/business manuals all rolled into one book. It says nothing that can't be found in books elsewhere. What also struck me is it has told me absolutely nothing I didn't already know. It DOES go into great amount of depth about HOW you create your own reality and how the world works on a metaphysical level, far more detail than I've seen before but still expanding on a theme. In some parts I felt like I was reading an NLP book or something by Anthony Robbins. In other parts I felt like I was reading the E-Myth and in other parts I recognised information I've read before in lots of books about creative visualisations and affirmations and in other parts it is just repeat of the nuts-and-bolts of business books. I feel this book should be retitled I'm not saying that these principles don't work and won't get you to where you want to be...I can't answer that until I apply the principles myself for any decent length of time. What I am saying is that if you are fairly well read in books of this genre you will learn nothing new and in your case a more appropriate title would be 'The Answers That You Already Know Repeated'.
