Ancient aircraft? Surely not!March 28, 2006 MR B DAVIES(South Wales, UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This title is well researched and although some of the translations can be a little hard to wade through at times (outweighed by the fascinating content) there seems no doubt that these craft have been in existance for considerably longer than western science is willing to acknowledge.
There appear to have been many different flavours of these craft ranging from near-conventional propulsion (with propellor blades) to possibly pure aether/emf propulsion versions.
This book will leave you in no doubt about the existence of these craft.. but don't expect to able to devise a mercury vortex engine and Vimana of your own from the details supplied ; )
An essential addition to any ancient mystery or UFO library.May 28, 2002 hayes@thevortex.com(U.K.) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
An important look at the question "Did the ancients have the technology of flight?" A subject that is often hinted at in magazine articles and touched on only briefly by other books delving into the ancient technology mystery. An area that sadly is often overlooked because of the dominence of the Eygptions and Sumerians in this field is the rich history of the Indian sub-continent. The Verdic Epics, the Ramayan and the Mahabharata are the sources of this book with some going into minute detail about the construction of flying machines, the pilots clothes and food, also tactics for ariel dogfights! The similarity to modern day UFO's is uncanny. Well worth the asking price as an essential part of your ancient mystery collection.
