Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars An excellent overview on television script writing   February 12, 2001

As an inexperienced and rather bemused screenplay writer, I found the majority of literature on this subject to reflect a rather condescending attitude that I have battled to get away from. Gerald Kelsey presents his material in a remarkably simple way, where important concepts/ideas are illustrated brilliantly through the inherent simplicity of his points and explanations. I would recommend this book to anyone who is NEW to writing for television. For the more experienced of the breed, I feel this book would be suitable for returning to basics only. Consequently, the more experienced seem to be doomed to the condescending works of others.
