My New Favourite Katie! November 13, 2008 P. Ashley (Conwy United Kingdom) Although the Haggis Cafe in HIghland Fling will always have a place in my heart, the masterly way Katie has entwined the stories of the three women at the heart of this story has to make it my new best favourite. There are a host of memorable minor characters too, not least the very dishy Hugo...Loved it!
My favourite so far, too October 30, 2008 Liz (UK) This book seems to inspire hugely varied reviews but I have to say this was my favourite KF book so far. I've read four others but found Wedding Season to have had a lightness and sparkle that made me keep turning the pages. I also enjoyed the three interweaving stories of the women: shy girl, sassy girl and worm-that-turns. The scene in the bedroom where a certain vile man gets his come uppance was worth the price of the book alone.
My favourite Katie Fforde book October 18, 2008 H (Milton Keynes) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved this. I was sorry when I'd finished it. It made me smile at the end. It's uplifting. You warm to each of the three main female characters. They're all flawed, but very likeable, as are their men! You want things to work out between them all. The detail regarding wedding planning etc. was interesting.
Drivel September 9, 2008 eden (Kent) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've read and enjoyed quite a few of her previous books but this really was predictable drivel and has put me off reading any further books.

Having loved a couple of Katie Fforde books in particular the Rose Revived, I didn't hesitate to buy this one - I hate to say that I didn't get past chapter 3....I found it cheesy and frankly tedious...sorry x
