I have just finsihed my Chemistry A-Level. I used this book. In the 3 modules (2 Half Modules incl.) that you do for Chemistry A-Level this is only sufficient for 2 and a half. You will need to buy another book for Biochemistry. The books were a good resource for many exam questions and the book comes inclusive with sample questions and answers, however these do not necessary mirror the type of questions you will get in the actual exam. I had many questions that I couldn't answer immediatly on the exam paper and when consulting this book, I would have a 50% chance of finding the answer, you can do the maths for the reverse!
I would prefer if the book had more reference to the syllabus seeing that the book is made by OCR and so are the exams, not much to ask!!!
I recommend it only because I have little knowledge of other books related to A-Level Chemistry and I hope that students will have the facility to find another book that offers more.
