"Now You See It..." is the sequel to "Hocus Pocus" and although this book stands well on its own, I do suggest reading the utterly charming HP first.
Unlike her sister Amanda (the leading lady in HP) Sarah is aware of her own attractiveness and also has absolutely no qualms speaking exactly what is on her mind; except those three magical words said to a special someone. Since her split from her ex Anthony over two years ago, she's carefully guarded her shattered heart against any further hurt and now never lets any man too close. Cue her elderly and entertainingly eccentric Aunt Lilly ad-libbing yet another spell to help a beloved niece find her perfect man.
Whilst Aunt Lilly and her new geriatric chum Emily organise a cruise, Sarah finds herself trying to persuade Emily's stubborn grandson Tony that she should go. Yep Tony is none other than Anthony; the ex that broke her heart and he has now somehow manipulated her into chaperoning a pair of elderly women around Europe with him tagging along as well.
Ex-workaholic Tony fully appreciates why Sarah walked away from their relationship; constantly cancelled last minute dates and his devotion to his expanding company certainly placed her low on his priorities despite the red hot sex they shared. Yet having missed her since she left him he is now determined to win her back, but Sarah's proving a tough nut to crack and is unwilling to give him another chance. In fact he'd have no idea what she was thinking if her aunt's spell hadn't kicked in upon his appearance; until Sarah can admit she loves him, every time she thinks about Tony a piece of her clothing will disappear. Soon Sarah is borrowing Anthony's shirts and outfitting herself with every bit on jewellery she owns, yet they just keep on disappearing.
This is another absolutely magical romance from TR and I rate it as highly as "Hocus Pocus". Comic relief in the antics of Lilly, Emily and Tony's highly exuberant Italian family works well and once Sarah begins to forgive Tony his past behaviour, things certainly heat up quickly between the pair. Getting out of clothes quickly has never been easier when all you have to do is think about the man you never fell out of love with. Although Aunt Lilly has now successfully paired off her two nieces, I sincerely hope she intends to target other women; after all this talented matchmaker's spells may not turn out exactly as planned, yet she does have a 100% success rate.
