Thumbs up! November 14, 2004 This is one of the best Resident Evil books that has been written so far. If you have played Nemesis you will basicly know what happens but what I liked about this book is that you get some back ground info as to what? where? and when?. All thoses little things that you just did'nt know.....
Resident Evil Nemesis July 27, 2004 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Although i have only read half way im kinda know what's gonna happen already and i havent played the game but seen sum1 playing it, The book isnt excellentely written however it has been written good enought to convey the story. Quite scary and very descriptionive on the horror etc. The story follows the game quite well of what ive read it even has those annoying little puzzles with gems in it. You can also see the 3 plots for each character weave into 1 which is a good thing if u don't like surprises. Overall a good read and i would recommend and i have purchased the other 5 after just reading little over half this book! Hopefully the film will be just as good (prob not with alice fighting hand to hand with nemesis and in the game one punch from him wud nearly kill u : <
Gut munching good September 18, 2003 S.D.Perry has done it again! Her first 4 novels and code veronica were outstanding and this is no different! Even though S.D.Perry mixed the timeline up, this still makes an enjoyable read. Although Nemesis can't compare to the first novelit comes close, a truly enjoyable read that should suit a Resident evil fan to a tee. I can't wait to see if she ever writes anymore, especially since Resident evil 4 comes out on Gamecube next year. A GREAT READ, YOU MUST BUY THIS!! NOW!!

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series, so I've already read the first four books by S.D Perry. I was disappointed to find that 5 doesn't follow up as well. There's two major discrepancies in there: 'Why was Jill in Racoon city in the first place?', and 'If Raccoon city was blown up, how could there have been a clean-up operation in the third book?' I suppose that Perry needed to try and keep everyone happy, but as a result the book sticks nither to the game nor the books. That said, if you can ignore the fact that it doesn't gel with the other books, it's still a good read.
"best of the series" May 26, 2001 this book is the best one of the series i reccomend it to all fans of the game but be careful it does@nt follow the plot exactly!
