5 out of 5 stars Great book - packed with high quality information   February 25, 2008

This book is going to keep people running who would otherwise be forced to resort to expensive health care advice. Great work.

5 out of 5 stars Green light go, red light stop!   February 16, 2008

This book, written for the educated lay person, contains a mountain of information that the author (a physiotherapist) has managed to organise in a great format. It tries to help you avoid injury where possible, but if you do sustain an injury the use of a clever traffic light system helps you decide if you can keep training or whether you should stop and seek treatment. I've certainly learnt alot - the author's professional and personal expertise in this area makes this book stand out in its field.

5 out of 5 stars Clear, Concise and helpful resource   February 10, 2008

The book is well laid out, bursting with facts, with just the right amount of technical information (sprinkled with a light dose of humor) to keep you interested. It breaks down the common faults, and injuries associated with running, while pointing you in the right direction to recovery and improving your performance.

An invaluable resource, I've recommended this book to clients (seasoned and complete beginners like) as well as other health and fitness professionals.
Awesome stuff.

This book is excellent, its clear, very informative, and its like my little running bible! I've just recently started running after a back injury and Running Repairs has taught me how to run properly, effectively and continues to be a source of reference time and time again. Definitely an essential handbook for all levels of runners.

This book is an excellent publication for the amateur and club runners alike. The author is a clinical specialist in pyhsiotherapy and throughout she gives very easy to read and informative advice on a wide range of issues aimed at achieving and maintaining personal and injury free fitness, which I have found most helpful. I am now able to prepare myself in a much more competent way for my limited running abilities. I am also much better informed about how to deal with minor pain, which from time to time I have experienced after running, primarily because I was'nt following the simple routines that are so well explained in this book. I am delighted to have the benefit of the advice contained in this publication. It is excellent value for money and I am sure it will prove to be a great reference for many.
